Australian custom motorcycle and surf outfitter, Deus Ex Machina, has joined forces with 1:1 super clone Breitling once again. This time, the two brand collaborated to present the Top Time Deus.
This third collaboration comes off the heels of two sold-out limited editions. This new piece presents a monochromatic departure from its colorful predecessors, with a black dial contrasted by its white triple-register sub dials and tachymeter scale. Color is introduced through touches of red on the outer dial, and especially on the centerpiece chrono hand. Just like the past two collections, the chrono hand is shaped like a lightning bolt. The open sapphire-crystal caseback reveals the Deus Ex Machina logo at its center.

This year’s model benefits from a massive upgrade courtesy of the high end copy Breitling Manufacture Caliber 01. The movement’s refined mechanism is now visible through a new open-caseback design. The dial features a twin-register display with speed-measuring tachymeter scale, and the Swiss movement replica Breitling and Triumph logos at 12 and 6 o’clock.
