Our articles are written for readers first.
Search terminology may help people discover a page, but keywords should not change the underlying facts of a story.
For example, if Rolex releases a new watch, we describe it as a Rolex release. We do not state that a replica manufacturer released the official Rolex product simply to place a replica related phrase into the sentence.
Where appropriate, a separate section may then discuss what the genuine design could mean for replica versions.
Genuine and Replica Products Are Kept Separate
This distinction is central to our editorial approach.
